Rides
INSTRUCTIONAL RIDES
Horse riding lessons for beginners, or those who are a little rusty. All our rides take place outdoors around the farm, this is a much more enjoyable way for you to learn and we believe it also makes for a happier horse.
Hacks
FOR THE NOVICE OR EXPERIENCED RIDER
A one or a two hour ride through the fields and woods surrounding Kimmerston.
These rides take you down quiet roads to fields with wide riding margins, or to skirt the edge of woods, or to climb the higher fields with views towards the Cheviot Hills.
The views are spectacular whatever the weather. Keen eyes may spot deer, hares, buzzards, and the occasional glider from the nearby airfield at Milfield.
MOOR RIDE
Enjoy the panoramic views of the coast to the east and the Cheviots to the west, as you ride across bracken moors on Ford Moss. Interesting flora and fauna are to be seen throughout the year, including if you are lucky, a glimpse of the wild ponies who live on Ford Moss.

- Half Hour Lead Rein: £25 per adult, £20 for under 10yrs
- Hire of hats and boots: £1 per person
Private rides can be arranged with an additional charge

Please also note, in the interest of the welfare of our horses, the maximum weight you can be to ride is 14 stone or 88kg.
